Amanda Lynn Washington

Amanda Washington began working as an attorney at MGM Attorneys in 2013. She currently practices in the firm’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Litigation Section. Amanda is a native of White Castle, Louisiana. She earned her B.A. in Political Science/Pre-law, with minors in Communications and English, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2008. Amanda received her Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2012, where she graduated on the Chancellor’s List.

During her time at LSU Law, Amanda served as an LSU Law Ambassador as well as a mentor to incoming students. Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Amanda clerked for partner, Daniel J. McGlynn for two years where she gained a plethora of knowledge regarding harmful prescriptions drugs and medical devices and the tumultuous effects they can have on innocent people. This firsthand experience made her decision to represent those injured by these drugs and devices a priority.

Amanda is admitted to practice before the Louisiana Supreme Court, all state courts in Louisiana, the United States District Court of Louisiana Middle District of Louisiana, the United States District Court Western District of Louisiana, and the United States District Court Eastern District of Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, American Association for Justice (AAJ) and the Louisiana Association of Justice (LAJ).
