John R. Morganti
Head of Varsity Title
John joined MGM in April 2009 to operate the firm's title company, Varsity Title, LLC. John was born and raised in the Baton Rouge area. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctorate from LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
From 1985 till 2008 John managed the direct Louisiana residential and commercial title, escrow and closing operations for Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation, a national real estate title insurance underwriter, where operations annually closed or insured transactions from the smallest residential sale to $100,000,000.00+ commercial transactions, and underwrote in excess of $100,000,000.00 single family residential title insurance, and from $30,000,000.00 to $200,000,000.00 in commercial and industrial title insurance.
John is a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS, the Louisiana Land Title Association, the Baton Rouge Independent Title Attorneys, the Louisiana Association of Independent Land Title Agents and the Louisiana State Bar Association. John has been married to Tracy since 1993. They have one son, Jack.
