Ben Files joined the medical malpractice section of MGM Injury Attorneys in April of 2024.
Ben is a trial attorney whose practice is focused on advocating for victims of medical malpractice. As a medical malpractice attorney at MGM Injury Attorneys, he represents patients who have suffered serious, life-changing injuries due to preventable medical errors. Ben is committed to holding healthcare providers and institutions accountable when they fail to deliver the standard of care their patients are entitled to receive. He is dedicated to helping clients find answers and recover the compensation they need to move forward after devastating injuries or the loss of a loved one. His practice includes cases involving surgical errors, spinal cord injuries, delayed or missed diagnoses, medication mistakes, hospital negligence, and wrongful death.
A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Ben earned his undergraduate degree in History and Political Science from Louisiana State University before continuing his legal education at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While in law school, he won the Ira S. Flory Mock Trial Competition in the spring of 2019.
Ben is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice (LAJ), and Baton Rouge Ancient Athlete Society (BRAAS).
